With the Ha Giang Loop Easy Rider Tour there are some of the most spectacular roads riding through beautiful mountains and rivers.
For those not experienced with motorbikes we offer a Easy Rider Tour option so you can relax and enjoy the ride from the back of a bike whilst we take you to the best places.
Your driver will take your through the Ma Pi Leng pass, Lung Cu flag pole, Dong Van Plateau and along the Nho Que river whilst showing you Du Gia waterfall, local homstays, ethnic groups and all of the views you need to see.
Getting to Ha Giang
Ha Giang can be reached from Hanoi or Sapa easily via the bus, there is both day time and night time buses but we recommend taking the night bus which arrives in the early hours. We have a dorm room in Ha Giang for our customers to use for free once getting off the night bus. You can then shower and eat before starting your trip. Just contact us for help booking the bike.
After finishing your trip we can help you book the night bus back to Hanoi. You can rest and relax at the shop and take a shower as you wait for the bus.
Ha Giang Loop Easy Rider Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Ha Giang – Quan Ba – Du Gia, approx. 120 km drive
(Lunch/Dinner)
After breakfast, we will prepare you bike and help you choose the right helmet and equipment for the ride.
The tour starts heading north out of Ha Giang city. We enter Dong Van Karst Plateau Global Geopark before reaching Heaven’s Gate in Quan Ba, we continue through the Twin mountains before stopping for lunch with a Dao ethnic minority family in Tam Son town.
After lunch, we ride to Du Gia via the Lo River where we stay with a Tay ethnic homestay for dinner and the night.
Day 2: Du Gia – Meo Vac – Ma Pi Leng – Dong Van, approx. 110 km drive
(Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
In the morning there is time for breakfast and a swim in the local waterfall.
We start the days ride heading towards Meo Vac through the heart of Ha Giang. We stop in Meo Vac town for lunch, before we reach the famous Ma Pi Leng pass. At 1500 m, you will see the most spectacular views of the trip from the green mountains all around and the Nho Que River far below.
The day ends with reaching Dong Van for dinner and to sleep for the night.
Day 3: Dong Van – Lung Cu – Yen Minh – Ha Giang, approx. 130 km drive
(Breakfast, Lunch)
After breakfast we head to the Lung Cu flagpole marking the northern most point of Vietnam. 500 steps up you can view the surrounding area and border with China.
From here to go to Sa Phin with a visit to the H’mong King palace. On the way south we take in some more passes before stopping in Yen Minh. where we take lunch.
The final stretch after lunch takes us past the Quan Ba mountain pass and back to Ha Giang.
