Motorbike Routes – Central Vietnam

1 day – Hai Van Pass Motorbike Route

The Hai Van Pass is the most famous pass in Vietnam and one that most visitors want to do. It is easy to follow the route here and the views are brilliant. It is ideal for beginners that don’t want to anything too difficult but still want the experience.

 

4 days – The Hai Van Pass and HCM Highway Loop

This route is 4 days through the Hai Van Pass. You will see Hoi an and Hue, then continuing north with the option of seeing the Vinh Moc tunnels. The route then circles back via the inland HCM highway offering a more rural road and scenery. If you want to see some of the more rural riding Vietnam has to offer but have limited time this is a good option.

 

7 days – The Hai Van Pass and Phong Nha Motorbike Routes

This route is the longest around the centre. It takes you up to Phong Nha and allows for 1 day in the national park and caves. Also on the way there is the chance to see the the Vinh Moc war tunnels, the My Son temple and ride through the Ho Chi Minh highway. The route is mostly through the more quiet inland roads and offers some of the best views in Vietnam with a mixture of mountain and ocean views.
