Why the Honda Wave 110

Perfect for beginners or for those on a tight budget but really there is no reason you can’t take the Honda Wave. It has gears so it is no problem in the mountains, it is found everywhere so every mechanic in the country can service and repair this bike if needed. 

Light weight, low seat height, no clutch, and a simple design make this bike a smart choice for anyone. At $210 for 1 month or just $10 per day at Style Motorbikes, there is no budget that doesn’t allow you to rent this model. 

Even the 110cc engine can make enough power for 1 person in the mountains and for overtaking on the main roads with a top gear well over the speed limit. 

Its Limitations

The 110cc does mean that the bike has limitations as it is just enough power for 1 person. Also having just a 3.7l fuel tank is less convenient as the range is just about 130km, this is a particular issue on the HCM road where you will have to carry extra petrol. The location of the fuel tank is also inconvenient as it means having to take off the backpack to fill up. These are no major issues but they are inconveniences. 

The smaller frame of the bike compared to the 150cc models or even the 125cc Honda Future does mean that on longer rides it is less comfortable, again not a major issue but something to consider. 

One of the biggest and most important differences between the 110cc models we offer compared to the larger bikes is the lack of a disk brake on the front of the bikes. The reduced braking power means that you should take this into account when riding faster as the top speed of the bike is relatively high. 

Who is the Honda Wave 110cc Recommended for?

The 2 key points with the Honda Wave which make it the right bike for someone is how beginner friendly it is. If you are only used to automatics then the semi-auto is much easier to learn than anyone expects and we will show you how this works. Not too much enough, light weight, no clutch all contribute to the ease to ride it.
